এই মরমী বাউল গানটিতে শ্রীকৃষ্ণের বিরহে রাধার তীব্র যন্ত্রণা এবং আকুতি প্রকাশ পেয়েছে। রাধা এখানে ভ্রমর বা মৌমাছিকে তার দূত হিসেবে ব্যবহার করেছেন। তিনি ভ্রমরকে অনুরোধ করছেন যেন সে গিয়ে কৃষ্ণকে বলে যে, তার বিরহের আগুনে রাধার দেহ ও মন জ্বলে পুড়ে যাচ্ছে। আগে থেকে যদি রাধা জানতেন যে কৃষ্ণ তাকে ছেড়ে চলে যাবেন, তবে তিনি নিজের চুল দিয়ে তাকে শক্ত করে বেঁধে রাখতেন। সাধক রাধারমণ দত্ত এই রূপকের মাধ্যমে আসলে ভগবানের থেকে জীবাত্মার বিরহের কষ্ট এবং ভক্তিভাবেরই বহিঃপ্রকাশ ঘটিয়েছেন।
